Bowden cables and wire pulls
Reliable transmission of traction and pushing forces between mechanical components
Bowden cables and wire pulls
We develop and manufacture wire ropes and cable harnesses that are adapted to the technical, functional and spatial requirements of each product. With them, we ensure reliable transmission of pulling or pushing force between various mechanical components, even in demanding operating conditions.
Modern production equipment, automated assembly processes and precisely manufactured components enable high repeatability, stable quality and efficient production of small and large batches. Depending on the intended use, we customize the length, pitch, wire type, protective sheath, end connectors and method of attachment.
Special attention is paid to the proper functioning, mechanical resistance and lifespan of the product. During production, we carry out control of key dimensions, fasteners, and the functionality of the assembled boom or wire rope.
Our solutions include:
- bodes for the transmission of pulling and pushing forces
- wire harnesses of various lengths and designs
- customized end connectors and fasteners
- sprayed plastic and metal components
- manual, semi-automatic and fully automated assembly
- functional control and final product verification
With our expertise and our own production capabilities, we support the customer throughout the entire project – from the development and selection of the appropriate components to the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and serial delivery of the final product.
Manual and automated assembly of assemblies
The components manufactured and purchased at TBP-Lenart are assembled into functionally complete assemblies ready for direct installation into the final product. Depending on the complexity of the product, the size of the batch, and the customer’s requirements, we employ manual, semi-automatic, or fully automated assembly processes.
For technically demanding products and small series, manual assembly is performed by trained associates using dedicated jigs, controlled tightening, and continuous inspection. This approach allows for great flexibility and reliable assembly of complex components.
For larger series, we use automated assembly cells equipped with robotic systems, component feeders, presence control, and machine vision systems. Automation ensures high repeatability, shorter production times, and stable quality of each assembled assembly.
In our groups we combine:
- own injection-molded and extruded plastic parts
- cable and wire routes
- metal inserts, shafts and fasteners
- bearings, springs, bearings and electric motors
- Electrical wiring and other purchased components
We complete the entire process with intermediate and final controls, functional tests, and traceability of key production data. This way, we provide the customer with a reliable final assembly manufactured in accordance with the agreed technical and quality requirements.
